I was on Timothy Allen’s website the other day, and saw these beautiful photos from a photo essay he took of the abandoned Buzludzha Monument in Bulgaria. The monument was once a huge symbolic monument to Communism, a time capsule of sorts for future generations… but has been abandoned for years and has fallen into complete disrepair…
Oddly enough, this state of falling apart is completely alluring… the decay of the building being almost more beautiful than when the building was brand new…
